Makwa Lake - Saskatchewan - Log Project

We completed design of this timber accent lake side vacation home a month ago, and the owner is getting busy with the concrete and frame work in readiness for the timber works arrival.

This design is a bigger version of our Malta original design with added single garage and a large second floor to house the whole extended family. The property also has no basement given the proximity of the lake.

The foundations were designed with screw piles to get thru a thick layer of clay, that swells up about 8″ with the rainy season.
